About the Owner

I always loved candles but grew frustrated with artificial scents, the headaches they would give me, and honestly the tacky looking candles on store shelves. While searching for something better, I realized most mass-produced candles are full of harmful chemicals, and high-quality alternatives were super overpriced.

With work experience in the craft industry, I started making my own—clean-burning, natural candles with scents that actually smelled  like the real thing. What began as a personal project quickly took off, and after an overwhelming response from first friends and family and then going viral on Etsy, Hazel Candle Co. was born. Through almost a decade of research and refinement, we’ve perfected our process, creating meticulously crafted, nature-inspired candles designed to bring the outdoors into your home.
